CALMING PRESSURE

The calming pressure look consists of three parts. Every garment has parts that can be adjusted by how the wearer wants to feel the pressure. We focused on the pressure points that are used for people with anxiety and stress. The pressure there is mostly on the chest and can give the wearer a "holding things together" feeling or to give it another way of description: A tight hug. But everyone is different so we wanted to make the wearer decide on how tight they want to make the garment. The materials of the pants and the cape are stiffer to give the garment enough strength to hold the pressure. The top is in a lighter fabric so there is still space to breathe. The colouration we used is colder to cool the wearer down when they feel hot from inside. The pants should give a mix between hard and soft so we chose a colour that is in the middle of these connotations. While the cape should be a bit heavy on the shoulders. So we chose the heaviest colour which is dark blue.
