ACTIVATE YOUR SENSES
The properties of rice in a bowl has similar properties to a high-density fluid, which forms pressure to the hand. This pressure promotes "venous return" (the flow of blood back to the heart), which makes people feel physiologically comfortable.

But why rice? The density of cereals such as oats is too low to create this nice pressure to the hand. Only rice can be smooth and dense with a distinct grainy touch. Rice also has a certain amount of water absorption, even if your hands are slightly sweaty, it can quickly absorb water, bringing a dry and smooth feeling. Rice is not as sticky and difficult to clean like sand, yet it has a flowing feeling, like water, but it does not wet your hand.

hen you put your hands deep in the rice bag, rice's touch allows you to gradually focus your attention on it. While paying attention to this touch, you can reach a state close to mindfulness and feel comfortable.
When you insert your hands into the rice bag, the rice will rush to "suck" your hands grain by grain and let our hands get immersed in it. You can experience this nice sensation in the palm of your hand, on the back of the hand, between the fingers, even at the tip of the finger.
In this comforting feeling, you don't worry about your troubles, but be absorbed in the present and concentrate on what you are doing right now.
